2016年1月开始 Oracle PSU命名规则发生改变

如果有经常查看MOS的同学，看到1454618.1这篇文章，就会发现PSU的命名规则已经发生改变。

实际上，这个改变从2015年11月已经开始了。 BP，PSU，SPU，EM和Middleware产品都发生了改变，第5位用YYMMDD的格式来表示。

As of November 2015 the version numbering for new Bundle Patches, Patch Set Updates and Security Patch Updates for Oracle Database, Enterprise Manager and Middleware products will start to change format. The new format replaces the numeric 5th digit of the bundle version with a release date in the form "YYMMDD" where:

• YY is the last 2 digits of      the year

• MM is the numeric      month (2 digits)

• DD is the numeric day of the      month (2 digits)

Note that the "release date" is the release date of the main bundle / PSU / SPU. In some rare cases, for example where the same bundle is released on multiple platforms, the patch for a specific platform may not be available until some days after the "release date".

The new version format makes it easier to see which bundle patches are from which time-frame, and in particular which patches are from the same Critical Patch Update release.http://www.cndba.cn/dave/article/143

1       Examples:

• "WebLogic Server PSU 12.2.1.0.1"      will instead be called "WebLogic Server 12.2.0.1.160119"

• "Enterprise Manager Base Platform PSU      12.1.0.4.6" will instead be called "Enterprise Manager      Base Platform PSU 12.1.0.4.160119"

• "Database PSU 11.2.0.4.9" will      instead be called "Database PSU 11.2.0.4.160119"

• "Exadata Database Bundle Patch 11.2.0.4.21"      will instead be called "Exadata Database Bundle Patch 11.2.0.4.151117"

With the new numbering it is immediately clear that the first 3 patches are from the January 2016 Critical Patch Update (CPU) release, but the "Exadata Database Bundle Patch 11.2.0.4.151117" is from November 2015 and so is not from that CPU release.
